This article outlines the process for creating Charge Types in the Facility Module
Charge Types must be created before creating Customer Charges.
Creating Charge Types
From the side menu, click Facility Setup then select Charge Types.
Click on Add Charge Type in the top right to access the form below.
Free Text the Description of the charge then select the Unit of Measure (UOM)
If one of the Questions applies to the charge type, click the radio button next to the question then click Add Charge Type to save.
Please Note:
Multiple Charge Types can be created for each customer depending on invoice specifications. For example, certain customer items may be billed per pound while specialty items are billed per piece.
